Denis lost his best friend on July 13, 2003 .   Pictured here is Cody, the talking dog.  When kids came to Dog Beach and saw Denis, they wanted to see Cody. On our cleanup days when Denis had to leave Cody at home, the kids were so disappointed.  Denis's buddy Cody got him on to the David Letterman TV show, the Jay Leno TV show and many others. Cody was a terrific performer but he was  also wonderful as a licensed therapy dog who often visited patients at the V.A. hospital.  Cody lived with Denis for 13 glorious years.  We at Dog Beach will join Denis in mourning him for a very long time.
